Key Responsibilities

  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images as directed by care providers.
  • Perform routine diagnostic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times.
  • Position patients and adjust equipment for optimal image capture, following established protocols and safety standards.
  • Develop and process radiologic film, delivering high-quality images to requesting physicians for interpretation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized x-ray exam room, stocking necessary medical and radiological supplies.
  • Clean and perform minor adjustments to radiologic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Responsible for disseminating x-ray reports and images, maintaining accurate location logs and scheduling radiologic exams as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent education and experience.
  • SCRQSA license and ARRT certification for Radiology, with the ability to obtain a permanent license within 30 days of passing the ARRT registry.
  • One year of physician practice experience preferred, but not required.
