Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and load tests to validate the functionality of software products.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and design effective test strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a quality assurance perspective.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Work with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring a high level of product quality.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure our QA practices are cutting-edge.
- Facilitate and coordinate end-user testing sessions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted in lieu of the required degree.
- 5+ years of experience on a Quality Assurance testing team with demonstrated experience developing and executing test protocols.
- 5+ years of experience developing test entrance and exit criteria, test case scenarios, test data and test roles and responsibilities.
- 2+ years of experience planning, executing, facilitating and coordinating end user system testing, including communication and documentation of status/issues with stakeholders.
- Effective communication and documentation skills for reporting status and issues to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in QA tools and software such as JIRA, Selenium, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with various software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Strong analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
