We are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Senior Control Systems Specialist to join our dynamic team.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual who is passionate about designing configuring and programming PLC SCADA and networking systems.

The Role:

  • Design configuration and programming of PLC SCADA and Networking systems.
  • Development of control system documentation including ITPs FAT/SAT documents and Functional Design Specifications.
  • Factory Acceptance Testing of control systems.
  • Site Acceptance Testing and Commissioning of control/automation systems.
  • Supporting the Control Systems engineering team with project delivery.
  • Supporting learning and development for control systems engineers/graduates.
  • Liaising with Site Operations and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Software Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering having extensive work experience in control systems design programming and commissioning.
  • Minimum of 6 years industry experience in control systems engineering.
  • Have widespread skills and knowledge in electrical/control systems design fault finding troubleshooting and commissioning of industrial automation plants.
  • Strong communication and computer skills.
  • Strong organisational and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficient with Emerson RX3i PLCs and GE Digital Cimplicity SCADA.
  • Experience with interfacing communications protocols including Modbus TCP/IP and Profinet.
