**Job Title:** Pharmacy Technician

**Job Summary:** We're seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll assist pharmacists in labeling and filling prescriptions, entering prescriptions into our computer system, and verifying that customers receive the correct medication. You'll also play a key role in scheduling and maintaining workflow, prepacking bulk medications, and screening calls for pharmacists.

**Responsibilities:** • Assist pharmacist in labeling and filling prescriptions; • Assist patients in dropping off and picking up prescriptions; • Entering prescriptions into the computer; • Verify that customer receives correct prescription(s); • Scheduling and maintaining workflow; • Prepackage bulk medications; • Screen calls for pharmacists; • Medication ordering; • Billing of third party insurers; • Prepare medication inventories; • Assisting in outpatient dispensing; • Assisting inpatient dispensing; • Purchasing and billing 14) Maintaining computerized records; • Promoting sales and developing the business.

**Requirements:** • Must have dexterity in hands to be able to scan/key groceries.; • Must have strong communication skills to ensure excellent customer service.; • Strong mathematical skills required to run the registers.; • Must be able to lift up to twenty five (25) pounds up to forty percent (40%) of the time.; • Must be able to stand upright for the majority of your scheduled work shift.

**Estimated Salary:** $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
