Estimated Salary:The estimated salary for this position ranges from $45,655 to $68,485 per year, depending on location and individual qualifications.
About the Job:This position is responsible for supporting all activities related to developing and maintaining physician, practitioner, group, and/or facility MPPS and organization services delivery systems in small to mid-size markets defined by membership, number of providers, business operating units, and lines of business.
You will interact with various areas of the organization to coordinate network management and administration responsibilities, assessing network needs, analyzing composition, and recruiting providers to meet network adequacy standards.
Key responsibilities include conducting and coordinating contracting and amendment initiatives, providing issue resolution and complex troubleshooting for providers, and conducting administrative provider site visits.
You will also work with the Public Policy Research Center to maintain current credentialing status, evaluate quality of care issues, and manage ongoing audits of provider compliance with Magellan policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a related position or field. You should possess strong presentation skills, intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and ability to work independently and prioritize activities.
