Cybersecurity Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced cybersecurity professor to join our team at the University of Oklahoma. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of cybersecurity education and research.
About the PositionThis is a full-time, ranked renewable term Associate or Full Professor position with teaching emphasis in cybersecurity and related fields. The successful candidate will provide leadership in curriculum innovation, be an outstanding and effective communicator, and show empathy in student interactions.
Responsibilities- Design and implement new degree programs in cybersecurity and related fields
- Provide leadership in curriculum innovation and development
- Teach and mentor students in cybersecurity and related fields
- Conduct research and scholarship in cybersecurity and related fields
- Engage in creative activity, such as presentations at national or international conferences and publication in educational journals
Candidates must have a doctoral degree in a computing-related field and teaching experience at the college level in cybersecurity or a closely related field. Experience with computing student education through teaching and student mentoring is required. Evidence of scholarship in computing and/or engineering education is preferred.
