Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safety and stability of these structures, which may include shoring, reshoring, falsework, formwork, crane foundations, crane tie-back connections, and temporary stability bracing.

In addition to designing temporary structures, you will also be responsible for creating construction procedures used in the construction and demolition of buildings. This may include erection plans, demolition plans, jacking sequences, and post-tensioning sequences.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a Master's degree in Structural Engineering being a plus. You will also require 8+ years of engineering and design experience, with a North Carolina PE license being required and SE certification preferred.

Your expertise should include the analysis and design of reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, structural steel and tubing, cold formed steel, timber, masonry, and foundations. You should also be proficient in Revit, MicroStation, Autocad, and/or other drawing software.
