Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and resolve intricate issues across development, integration, testing, and production environments within Cloud One, including troubleshooting infrastructure, connectivity, and application performance challenges.
  • Continuously assess and monitor system performance, utilization, and overall health across both production and auxiliary environments.
  • Implement strategies for performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization to guarantee high availability and operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for Cargo and Personnel Movement (CPM) interfaces, ensuring smooth integration and functionality within the broader cloud ecosystem.
  • Assist in the creation and upkeep of architectural documentation to ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Establish and manage security protocols to safeguard cloud environments against vulnerabilities and threats, regularly reviewing and updating security measures to comply with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams, including developers, system administrators, and stakeholders, to support cloud initiatives and tackle technical challenges. Document processes, configurations, and modifications for knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Stay informed about emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and innovations to improve cloud infrastructure and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience and education combinations as detailed below:
  • High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
  • Master's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, and other DevSecOps tools.
  • Hands-on experience with major cloud service providers including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform, demonstrating proficiency in managing and optimizing cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with a wide array of cloud services and technologies, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Experience in supporting and integrating various web services and APIs, with a solid understanding of RESTful services and SOAP protocols.
  • Proficiency in utilizing cloud monitoring tools and platforms (e.g., Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Google Cloud Operations Suite) to oversee system performance and resource utilization.
  • Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving issues in cloud environments throughout development, integration, testing, and production stages.
  • Experience in developing and reviewing cloud architecture designs, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Certifications: (628) Software / Cloud Architect-Basic per DoD and DCWF.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain US DOD Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with specific technologies, software, or systems relevant to the role.
