Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and streamline support functions and maintain DoD Acquisitions SOPs.
  • Gather, analyze, and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of programs.
  • Support and develop reports, including statutory and regulatory reports.
  • Identify internal and external issues that may impact the customer and take appropriate action.
  • Draft, consolidate, coordinate, and edit executive-level documentation to ensure consistency with organizational strategic objectives.
  • Support activities that assist executives in assessing program schedules and cost baselines, recommending viable solutions, and pursuing alternative courses of action.
  • Make recommendations and prepare briefings, point papers, and other materials based on analysis of complex policy issues and documents.
  • Participate in external committees, working groups, and task forces.
  • Analyze and assign or perform actions as appropriate.
  • Manage and execute the end-to-end action tracking process, develop standard operating procedures, and serve as a facilitator for user requirements.
  • Monitor progress on actions, generate metrics to demonstrate accountability for meeting deadlines and quality expectations, and prepare periodic reports on action status.
  • Disseminate policy and legislative changes to appropriate parties internal to the customer.
  • Draft, proofread, edit, and provide final review of internal and external correspondence, Weekly Activity Report, point papers, and briefings.
  • Coordinate and maintain presentations for audiences up to the customer level, maintaining a quality control process for all presentations.
  • Manage records generated during the execution of projects and programs in accordance with regulations and customer Directives and Instructions.
  • Program Management (PM) Support expertise in the following areas:

Qualifications/Technical Experience Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • Experience in project/program management or both along with direct experience navigating and implementing DoD Acquisition policy; DoD.
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior executives at multiple organizational levels.
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.).
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and standard computer applications to include ability to input, retrieve, and maintain data in a Microsoft Access database.
  • Demonstrated experience adapting to a rapidly changing work environment while maintaining flexibility and versatility.
  • Demonstrated experience fostering solid relationships that promote cooperation and communicate expectations.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing situations and making well-informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating effectively and concisely using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to the audience.
  • Demonstrated experience in DoD organizational structures, mission, vision, culture, values, philosophy, and operating principles.
  • Ability to assimilate information from various sources and merge into a coherent document (e.g., action response, point paper, briefing).
