The associate will be trained across multiple functions such as cashiering, cooking, and serving to maintain operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process customer orders, preparing food items that require minimal cooking time, tailored to customer preferences.
  • Engage in food preparation activities, including assembling sandwiches, carving meats, preparing soups or salads, baking goods, and brewing beverages.
  • Manage the setup, restocking, and cleanup of food preparation areas and service counters.
  • Restock kitchen supplies and ensure proper food rotation.
  • Handle customer payments accurately, providing receipts, refunds, or change as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized cash handling area, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Management.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred; partial high school education acceptable.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, including menus and recipes.
  • Strong visual and communication skills.
  • Capability to document information accurately on culinary production sheets.
  • Familiarity with sanitation standards in the food service industry.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained in various roles within the workplace.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Frequent movement throughout the work area to complete tasks.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and push weights of up to 50 lbs. as necessary.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to navigate stairs regularly.
  • Adaptability to temperature variations in food storage and preparation areas.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing work-related documents in English.
  • Effective verbal communication skills for interaction with customers and team members.
  • Physical presence at the job site is essential for fulfilling job responsibilities.
