Job Summary:

As an Emergency Services Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. You will assist nursing staff with designated duties, ensuring the safety, comfort, and welfare of patients. Your strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment will be essential in delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist nursing staff with patient care duties, including vital sign collection, EKGs, and basic wound care.
  • Document patient care in the electronic medical record.
  • Maintain supplies and equipment according to department standards.
  • Apply splints and orthopedic appliances under the direction of a RN or practitioner.
  • Function as a phlebotomist as directed by a RN or practitioner.
Requirements:
  • Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience in an emergency department or urgent care setting.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • Registered Medical Assistant (Washington) certification within 4 months of hire.
  • Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certificate (Washington) within 4 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two (2) years of clinical experience in an emergency department or urgent care setting.
  • EMT training.
