About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Performance Improvement Administrator to join our team at Wellpath. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement compliance programs, policies, and practices to ensure facility-wide adherence to CARF accreditation standards, Title 9 regulations, HIPAA regulations, and all applicable federal, state, and local statutes.
  • Coordinate compliance with contracts between the facility and DHCS, Counties, and other relevant entities, and submit responses and corrective action plans as needed.
  • Establish and chair the compliance committee, develop internal reporting processes, conduct investigations of alleged non-compliance issues, and provide orientation to management and staff on the compliance program.
  • Oversee the facility's Performance Improvement Program, track indicator reports to identify trends, and facilitate continuous process improvement.
  • Provide training to staff on PI methods, tools, root cause analysis, and project presentations, and develop and direct company compliance communications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human services or health care field. Master's degree is preferred.
  • Five (5) years management demonstrated experience in compliance or performance improvement administration.
  • Previous experience in a residential facility or behavioral health environment preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or other quality professional certification preferred.
