Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Central Maine Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting, working collaboratively with physicians, nurse managers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based care practices
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including medical records and other relevant documentation
Requirements
  • Current state Registered Nurse licensure in Maine
  • BSN preferred
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification
  • IV Therapy and Phlebotomy experience required
  • 2 years' experience preferred, 1 year acute care experience required
