About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Development Specialist to join our team in Portland, OR; Vancouver, WA; or Lake Oswego, OR. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing civil site development projects, brownfield redevelopment initiatives, environmental remediation designs, and stormwater system and treatment designs. Your expertise in generalist work will enable you to take on a variety of tasks, from fieldwork to office operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop civil site development projects, brownfield redevelopment initiatives, environmental remediation designs, and stormwater system and treatment designs.
  • Collaborate with licensed engineers to prepare engineering designs and specifications, support project bidding and contract solicitation, and assist in the development and implementation of proposals, scopes, schedules, and budgets.
  • Engage in discussions and negotiations with clients and regulatory agencies.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in consulting.
  • EIT Certification.
  • Interest in working in the consulting environment on projects involving site development design, brownfield redevelopment, environmental remediation design, hydraulics and hydrology, and stormwater system and treatment design.
  • Sound technical capabilities and organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as report writing will be part of your regular tasks.
  • Aptitude for using AutoCAD design software, specifically Civil 3D.
  • Ability to drive and willingness to travel occasionally to regional projects.
  • Ability to perform physical duties including, but not limited to, lifting, use of respiratory equipment and other protective gear, and traversing rough terrain.
