Position Overview:
The On-Site Operations Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the on-site workforce to emphasize safety in all activities, promote process enhancements, ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and other regulatory standards, and effectively manage operations.
Main Duties:
- Encourage a proactive safety mindset and accident prevention initiatives.
- Supervise site activities to uphold compliance with financial, ethical, regulatory, environmental, and safety guidelines.
- Direct daily operations, assist managers, and sustain staffing levels for optimal productivity.
- Oversee daily functions to ensure efficient and secure operations.
- Complete essential documentation and permits.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations for equipment compliance.
- Engage with local authorities to guarantee client satisfaction and negotiate agreements.
- Provide guidance to team members, establish clear objectives, and offer training opportunities.
- Participate in educational programs and broaden knowledge of products and services.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulations.
Education, Experience & Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will be a self-motivated leader with a proven history of delivering exceptional customer service. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Project Management is preferred. A minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive leadership experience in the waste or environmental sustainability sector is essential. Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations is crucial.
