The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a pivotal role in fostering a safe and inspiring atmosphere for students to explore their musical and creative talents. We aim to provide as many children as possible with the opportunity to experience the transformative power of music education. Our AGMs are dedicated to engaging with every facet of the school's community and operations to nurture our distinctive culture and environment, where students can develop both musical and life skills.


Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management:

  • Enhance student retention by cultivating a warm and welcoming school culture.
  • Introduce potential students and their families to our programs and encourage enrollment.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and school events.
  • Engage with students to ensure their needs are being met.
  • Monitor student attendance at lessons, rehearsals, and performances, and communicate absences to parents.
  • Address and resolve customer service issues effectively.

School Management:

  • Oversee the daily teaching schedule for optimal efficiency and profitability.
  • Assist in managing teaching and front desk staff.
  • Take charge of school operations in the absence of the General Manager.
  • Foster and maintain the unique atmosphere of the school through careful management of the physical environment.
  • Ensure attractive merchandise displays, maintain accurate inventory, and minimize damaged goods.

Sales and Marketing:

  • Manage incoming leads and maximize the conversion of leads into new students.
  • Conduct tours for prospective students and their families to promote enrollment.
  • Oversee ongoing marketing efforts to engage prospective students.
  • Maintain an active presence on social media platforms.
  • Effectively promote events and concerts through various marketing channels.
  • Engage in community outreach to provide opportunities for guest artists and workshops.

Financial Oversight:

  • Collaborate with the General Manager on the school's financial performance.
  • Assist with customer billing and collections.
  • Achieve enrollment targets to ensure the financial success of the school.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, sales, customer service, or social media management.
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
  • Experience and enthusiasm for working with children.
  • Strong business acumen, preferably with experience in small business operations.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • A collaborative spirit, capable of working with diverse populations.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and leadership qualities.
