About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Team Member to join our team at Walmart. As a Bakery Team Member, you will be responsible for preparing fresh baked items daily, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and providing exceptional customer service to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Bakery Items: Operate baking equipment, follow recipes and make-up instructions, and wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Work Area: Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Greet and thank members, answer questions, and provide assistance with purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work with other associates to build a strong bakery team, communicate with team members, and be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
