Childcare Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team at Hays Consolidated Independent School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, healthy, and stimulating learning environment for young children, promoting their physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development.

• Establish a positive and respectful relationship with children, parents, and colleagues
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to enhance children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, adhering to health and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues, sharing information and concerns in a professional manner
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education programs to enhance professional development

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) preferred
• Experience working with young children, with a minimum of six months' experience
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with children, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis. The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in challenging situations is essential.
