Childcare Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team at Hays Consolidated Independent School District. As a Childcare Provider, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, healthy, and stimulating learning environment for young children.

• Establish a positive and nurturing relationship with children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Plan and implement engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and support the overall well-being of children.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) preferred.
• At least six months of experience working with young children, with two years preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and move quickly to protect children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interactions with children, parents, and colleagues. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children.
