Procurement Analyst Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Analyst to join our team at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). As a key member of our acquisition team, you will be responsible for providing guidance on Federal A and A guidance and regulations.

About the Position:

The Procurement Analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to provide guidance on Federal A and A guidance and regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in contracting and procurement, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing guidance to Bureaus, Missions, and other staff on Federal A and A guidance and regulations;
  • Reviewing and interpreting the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Federal Assistance Regulation (2 CFR Title 2);
  • Drafting USAID's supplemental Acquisition Regulation (AIDAR), Agency Assistance Regulation (2 CFR 700), and other Agency regulations, policies, guidelines, procedures, and instructions related to USAID contracts and assistance agreements.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a U.S. citizen;
  • Have relevant experience in contracting or related positions;
  • Meet the basic requirement for Procurement Analyst GS-13/14 positions, which includes completion of all mandatory training prescribed by the head of the agency and at least 4 years of experience in contracting or related positions.
