About the Role

The Maintenance Technician role at Signode Industrial Group is a critical position that requires a safety-conscious and self-motivated individual with keen attention to detail. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on complex plastics processing and ancillary equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal production and quality.
  • Utilize root cause analysis and troubleshooting principles to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Lead production equipment modifications to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED certification, with an Industrial Maintenance degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with a preference for a plastics background and plastic extrusion experience.
  • Thorough understanding of general and maintenance safe work practices, such as LOTO, Hot Work, Electrical Safety, and PPE.
  • Proficient in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and electrical distribution ranging from 24 to 480 volts AC/DC.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot using schematic diagrams for circuits and assemblies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Salary: $32-$36/hourly
