Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical tests and procedures in one or more functional sections of the laboratory.
  • Maintain records of performance as defined by the Laboratory's administrative and sectional standard operating procedures.
  • Perform and record QC on Equipment as trained.
  • Be aware of and follow CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, and DNV guidelines and standards.
Requirements
  • Graduate of accredited MLT Program.
  • MLT Degree or Certification.
  • Will train a graduate of the school.
  • Prefer one (1) year of hospital clinical experience or demonstrated clinical efficiency.
