Job Overview

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Los Angeles, is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Pharmacist to oversee medication management services and clinical duties.

This role involves a 10-hour schedule, including rotational days, evenings, and weekends, and requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and common diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement medication management plans to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide pharmaceutical care and education.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patient medication regimens and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmaceutical advancements and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Pharm.D. or equivalent degree from a US-accredited pharmacy school.
  • Completion of PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency or equivalent experience.
  • Active pharmacist license in California.
  • BLS certification as per Pharmacy Policy and Procedure guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred completion of PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency or equivalent experience.
  • Thorough understanding of medical terminology and common diseases.
  • Ability to interpret patient care plans and pharmacological principles.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and training.
  • Proficiency in pharmaceutical calculations, compounding, and pharmacokinetics.
  • Adaptability to technological advancements in pharmacy practice.
