Job Title: Assistant Men's Soccer Coach

Coffee County Schools is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Men's Soccer Coach to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Head Coach in developing and implementing a comprehensive soccer program.
  2. Provide technical expertise and guidance to student-athletes.
  3. Develop and maintain a positive and supportive team environment.
  4. Assist with game planning, strategy, and execution.
  5. Develop and implement a practice schedule that meets the needs of the team.
  6. Assist with the selection and supervision of assistant coaches.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with parents, boosters, and community members.
  8. Assist with the development and implementation of a fundraising plan.
  9. Assist with the coordination of team travel and accommodations.
  10. Assist with the development and implementation of a safety plan.
  11. Assist with the coordination of team events and activities.
  12. Develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with the Head Coach and other staff members.

Requirements:

  1. Must have a strong background in soccer coaching and experience working with student-athletes.
  2. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  4. Must be able to develop and implement a comprehensive soccer program.
  5. Must be able to provide technical expertise and guidance to student-athletes.
  6. Must be able to develop and maintain a positive and supportive team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working with student-athletes with varying skill levels.
  2. Experience developing and implementing a comprehensive soccer program.
  3. Experience working with a team to develop and implement a fundraising plan.
  4. Experience working with a team to develop and implement a safety plan.

Working Conditions:

The Assistant Men's Soccer Coach will work primarily on the school campus, with occasional travel to away games and tournaments. The coach will be required to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position will be competitive and commensurate with experience. The coach will also be eligible for benefits, including health insurance and retirement plan.
