Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Wonderful Citrus. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining our fleet of vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in top working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend its lifespan.
  • Equipment Repair: Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with vehicles and equipment, and repair or replace parts as needed.
  • Parts Management: Order and manage parts and supplies, and document all work done on reports.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our maintenance supervisor to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Must have knowledge of 12-volt vehicle electrical systems, air brake systems, and fuel systems.
  • Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively in English and/or Spanish, both verbally and in writing.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
