Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Highlands Ranch, CO.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide top-notch patient care and contribute to our multidisciplinary team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:

  • Administering radioactive materials to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
  • Operating and maintaining nuclear medicine equipment
  • Interpreting images and data to diagnose and treat patients
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or certification in nuclear medicine (NM) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • State licensure if required by law
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
