Job Title: Academic Coordinator

Paramount Schools of Excellence is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Academic Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our academic leadership team, the Academic Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of academic programs and services across the district.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of district-wide academic programs and services, including curriculum development, instructional support, and assessment.
  • Provide coaching and support to school leaders and teachers to ensure high-quality instruction and student achievement.
  • Collaborate with the Network team and Chief of Schools to monitor and drive district-wide academic codification and fidelity.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each school's student assessment data, staff professional development, and special programs.
  • Manage and analyze data to inform instructional decisions and drive student achievement.
  • Develop and implement professional development programs to support teacher growth and development.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of district-wide assessments and evaluations.
  • Provide support to school leaders and teachers to ensure compliance with DOE guidelines and local assessment policies.
  • Collaborate with the Network team and Chief of Schools to develop and implement district-wide strategic plans.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or Business Management, with 3 years of management/leadership experience preferred.
  • IDOE Teacher or Administration Licensure preferred.
  • Unwavering commitment to quality programs and data-driven program evaluation.
  • Excellence in organizational management with the ability to set and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.
Working Conditions:

The Academic Coordinator will work in an office environment, but may be required to work evenings, weekends, and additional hours as needed to accommodate activities such as Board meetings and representing the organization at public events.
