We are in search of a Forensic/Malware Analyst (Senior-Level) to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate comprehensive technical reports detailing malware findings, identification parameters, advanced functionalities, and mitigation strategies.
  • Engage in research concerning malicious software, vulnerabilities, and exploitation tactics, requiring expertise in application security, network security, reverse engineering, or malware.
  • Deliver network infrastructure security assessments, including Network Assistance Visits (NAVs), System and Web Assessments, and overall network security evaluations.
  • Monitor, detect, and analyze activities on critical networks during operational hours.
  • Maintain a Continuity of Operations (COOP) plan for Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) systems and services.
  • Provide Tactical DCO integration support to military units by correlating tactical network sensor events and signature analysis.
  • Assist in analysis and signature development to ensure tactical units can effectively detect, identify, and respond to network threats.
  • Ensure the integration of Tactical data feeds into the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system.
  • Conduct incident response and analysis for detected or reported malicious activities.
  • Lead the evaluation and analysis of complex malicious code using various tools, including dissemblers, debuggers, hex editors, unpackers, virtual machines, and network sniffers.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) certification.
  • IAT Level II Certification or higher (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security Training, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC).
  • BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of directly related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of malware types, including worms, viruses, Trojans, rootkits, and botnets.
  • Experience in programming and system analysis with tools such as IDA Pro, Ollydbg, PCAP tools, and TCP Dump.
