About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Associate Representative to join our team at PepsiCo. As an HSE Associate Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance and implementing prevention-focused HSE initiatives across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the execution, implementation, and tracking of a location's annual HSE plan
  • Interface with regulatory bodies as needed to ensure compliance
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent workplace injuries, environmental incidents, and vehicle accidents
  • Establish processes to ensure driver capability using Defensive Driving techniques
  • Perform risk assessments and assist in the implementation of effective physical and/or behavioral control measures
  • Complete root cause analyses and develop corrective action plans to address root causes and management system weak-spots

Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, or a related field
  • Highly motivated self-starter with proven people/project leadership skills
  • Previous experience in an operations environment, either through employment, internship, or academic clubs
  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment with the ability to make tradeoff decisions quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills
  • Ability to give/receive constructive feedback
Minimum Qualifications
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
  • Be completing their final year of undergraduate studies
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, or a related field prior to the intended full-time start date
  • Hold a GPA of 2.75 or higher
