Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter Helper to join our team at Aerotek. As a Pipefitter Helper, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of pipes for various systems, including steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and production and processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation of pipes for various systems, including steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and production and processing systems.
  • Perform hand prep piping for backing rings and butt welds.
  • Use grinders or cutting machines to prepare pipes for installation.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of existing piping systems.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and safe installation and maintenance of piping systems.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in pipefitting or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
