About the Role:

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our medical professionals in delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting physicians with clinical tasks, such as identifying patients' chief complaints and recording observations.
  • Preparing patients for examinations, conducting vital sign tests, and performing medical procedures as directed.
  • Maintaining accurate medical records, transcribing doctors' orders, and communicating with physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Providing excellent customer service and interacting effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers.

Requirements:

  • A Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited institution or one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
  • Experience with HEDIS processes and procedures is a plus.
