Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include supporting the plan of care as delegated by staff nurses within the scope of skills verification, maintaining a clean and safe environment in the patient care area, and providing care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and related criteria. Effective communication with patients, families, and other staff members is also essential for successful job performance.

Requirements
To excel in this position, applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have hospital and telemetry experience. Current Louisiana Certification as a Nurses' Assistant (CNA) is required, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association and Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI). Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications is also necessary for effective task management.

Physical and Environmental Demands
The physical demands of this role involve exerting 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and working in an environment with exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue. The incumbent may face occupational risk for communicable diseases and hazardous medications or waste due to the nature of the job.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer competitive salaries, ranging from $40,000 to $60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
