About the Role:
Diakon is a leading non-profit organization in Pennsylvania and Maryland, dedicated to providing exceptional services to individuals and communities. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Mental Health Therapist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling services in an outpatient clinic setting, fostering a supportive and professional relationship with clients.
- Develop and maintain effective therapeutic interventions, collaborating with program supervisors to ensure efficient program operations.
- Lead and guide therapeutic staff, providing clinical and supportive guidance to enhance their skills and expertise.
- Collaborate with program supervisors to ensure the program's success and effectiveness.
- Conduct individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote positive outcomes.
- Education/Training: A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology is required, and a current LCSW, LMFT, or LPC is preferred.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three (3) years' post-graduate experience in related positions is normally required.
