Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Allied Universal Services. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol the facility or stand a post as instructed to serve as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions.
  • Detect and report suspicious activities, criminal acts, or client rule infractions at or near assigned posts.
  • Respond to all incidents as dispatched, providing assistance as needed, protecting personnel and property within reason, and securing the incident scene until properly relieved.
  • Conduct initial investigations of incidents and complete all appropriate reports.

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age (21 for Armed or Taser positions).
  • High school diploma, college degree, or GED.
  • 5 years of work experience within the last 5 years, with a minimum of 2 years verifiable work history.
  • Valid guard card/license, as required in the state for which you are applying.
  • Ability to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
  • Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
