Job Summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Fire Door Inspector to lead the DH Pace Compliance Program, promoting a values-based service philosophy and providing code-compliant solutions to customers' door-related needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field inspections to determine pass/fail based on code criteria.
  • Submit reports of findings and attach QR code stickers as required.
  • Take photos of openings and deficiencies as needed.
  • Upload inspection data daily and make adjustments to bring openings into compliance.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure job sites are clean and clear of debris.
  • Complete job tickets and timesheets accurately and submit them in a timely manner.
  • Collect CODs and notify management of any issues.
  • Update inspection records post-repair and travel as required.
Requirements
  • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Average ability to operate a computer, phone, and other productivity devices.
  • Experience reading, interpreting, and applying commercial building codes and standards is a plus.
  • Commercial door, frame, and hardware experience is a plus but not required.
