Key Responsibilities

As an MRI Technologist with Radius Staffing Solutions, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues. Your duties will include:

  • Performing MRI scans on patients using specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Positioning patients correctly and providing clear instructions to obtain the required images.
  • Adjusting imaging parameters to achieve optimal image quality.
  • Monitoring patients during scans and responding to any adverse reactions or complications.
  • Evaluating images for quality and clarity, and identifying any necessary re-scans.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate scan results.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Performing equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control checks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current ARRT registration as an MRI Technologist.
  • A deep understanding of MRI imaging techniques, protocols, and procedures, as well as proficiency in operating advanced MRI equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
