Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

At Veracity, we are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, as well as ensuring compliance with department quality assurance, Federal, State, and JCAHO Standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures
  • Fulfill all duties required by the department quality assurance, Federal, State, and JCAHO Standards
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of Nuclear Medicine training program
  • National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire or National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire or California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year experience working with cameras/computers of the same manufacturer as those at our hospital
  • Infant through older adult nuclear medicine procedure experience
  • Intravenous administration experience with pediatric patients
