As a Mechanic at First Student, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of vehicles. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and repairing vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with vehicles
- Assist with mobile emergency services
- 3 or more years of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles
- Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain a CDL
- Mechnic's tool set
- ASE testing and certification
- Competitive hourly wage
- ASE incentive of $0.25/hour for each relevant ASE obtained
- Monday-Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm, full-time shift
- Annual allowances for boots and prescription safety glasses
- State-of-the-art training programs
