We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Salvation Army Tucson. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operation of our thrift store.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. **Store Operations**: Assist the Store Manager in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment, ensuring a positive customer experience.

2. **Team Leadership**: Provide coaching, training, and development to store employees, promoting a culture of excellence and customer service.

3. **Customer Relations**: Support the Store Manager in maintaining good customer relations, setting an example by greeting all customers and donors.

4. **Administrative Tasks**: In the absence of the Store Manager, process paperwork, including hour and wage compliance, and implement loss prevention measures.

5. **Communication**: Communicate effectively with the Administration team regarding personnel issues and other matters.

**Requirements**

**Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required.

**Experience**: 2+ years of retail experience, preferably in a management role.

**Skills**: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
