Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with a DispatchHealth Medical Technician (DHMT) to deliver comprehensive care to patients in their homes.
- Perform thorough health assessments, diagnose, and treat complex illnesses.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, such as splinting, suturing, wound care, and minor procedures.
- Use critical thinking skills and evidence-based standards of practice to ensure quality care.
- Accurately document patient encounters and maintain accurate records.
- Educate patients and families on managing their health and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Minimum of two years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in acute care settings.
- Graduate degree from an accredited institution.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Nationally board certified.
- Current BLS certification, ACLS certification preferred.
- Prescriptive authority and DEA registration.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
