Job Summary

We are seeking a Strategic Business Development Manager to join our Commercial team. This is a remote position that will report to the Sr. Strategic Commercial Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage a portfolio of customers and partners within Federal and State Agencies, including architects, contractors, consultants, and regulators.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key industry decision makers to create a network that promotes Seaman Corporation products.
  • Identify programs and offices within federal and state agencies addressing specifiers, architects, contractors, consultants, and regulators with the objective to influence specification of Seaman Corporation materials for end-use applications consumed by government entities.
  • Collaborate with resources within Seaman Corporation and across customer and partner ecosystems to drive business growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to attain sales goals.
Requirements
  • Strong background in managing strategic sales activity and a proven track record in attaining sales goals.
  • Ability to navigate lengthy and complex sales cycles, from start to finish.
  • Experience selling to federal and state agencies, particularly in roles involving specification of materials for government projects and working with architects, contractors, consultants, and regulators.
  • General understanding of government procurement processes, regulations, and standards.
  • Financial expertise, articulating unit economics during decision-making.
