Job Summary:
Control Risks is seeking a highly skilled Global Security Analyst to support a major technology client. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and mitigating threats to the client's data center environment globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for the client's Data Center program, supporting a 24/7/365 security operations center environment.
- Triage global incidents by collecting, analyzing, and assessing information based on requirements for the safety and security of the client.
- Issue timely awareness/advisory alerts to stay ahead of emerging threats.
- Conduct comprehensive threat and vulnerability risk assessments on the client's sites, regions, and emerging markets.
- Develop and maintain a deep knowledge base of sources, including open-source intelligence, social media, client databases, and archives, staying at the forefront of the latest information to provide actionable insights.
- Quickly verify real-time news, crafting concise and accurate business reports within minutes. Distribute these reports to key stakeholders to keep them informed and prepared.
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of experience in a Global Security Operations Center, Security Operations, or similar role working in the technology sector.
- Bachelor's degree in History, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or related areas of study preferred.
- Familiarity with or ability to quickly become expert in Seerist platform.
- Ability to utilize social media and other open-source (OSINT) monitoring platforms to collect information for tactical intelligence purposes.
- Ability to gather and analyze large amounts of data and information and compile it into easily digestible, concise reporting.
- Interest in researching and monitoring emerging trends in the tech world.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail, strong multi-tasking skills, and ability to adapt to the needs of a fast-moving working environment.
