Job Overview

Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Specialty CVOR RN Leader. This position requires a strong background in nursing, leadership, and communication skills to effectively manage and coordinate the activities of the CVOR team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Charge Nurses on staff assignments and maintain staffing and skill mix for the CVOR specialty.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
  • Provide education and training to staff members on new equipment, procedures, and best practices.
  • Act as a liaison between surgeons, staff, vendors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage and communicate product recall alerts to affected physician groups and staff.
  • Conduct cost per case analysis and data for MSVAT and ORPEC.
  • Attend at least 75% of specialty leader meetings and arrange coverage for the specialty during PTO or absence.
Requirements
  • Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid participating compact license.
  • BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
  • ACLS certification.
  • Minimum of one year experience as an RN, preferably in a CVOR setting.
  • Minimum of two years cath lab, endovascular, vascular experience.
  • Preferred: CNOR certification.
