Job Title: Registered Nurse - Home Health

Aveanna is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Home Health Nurse. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in accordance with physician orders and Aveanna policies.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care activities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.
Requirements:
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.
Physical and Environmental Demands:
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting.
  • Ability to sit and climb stairs.
  • Visual and hearing acuity.
  • Strong sense of smell and touch.
  • Ability to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
  • Ability to respond physically and mentally to emergency situations in the home or during transport.
