Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Specialist to join our medical practice in Virginia, providing high-quality care to patients with neuro-musculoskeletal injuries and chronic conditions. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, tact, and skill in patient management, and a passion for working as part of a comprehensive team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and management, including initial medical consults and follow-up appointments
  • Recommend and conduct diagnostic testing to determine the extent of injury and appropriate treatment
  • Order diagnostic labs and imaging, including in-house computerized neurocognitive testing
  • Oversee the diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries, mild to moderate closed head injuries, and post-traumatic headaches
  • Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
  • Document patient information in a timely and accurate manner
  • Order and refer patients to in-house therapies
  • Collaborate with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • MD/DO degree from an accredited educational institution
  • Board Certification in Orthopedics
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
  • Favorable malpractice history
  • Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
  • DEA license
Work Schedule
  • Part-time (2-3 days per week)
  • No call or weekends
Compensation
  • $175-$200 per hour (depending on experience and credentials)
