Key Responsibilities- Conduct Nutritional Assessments: Interview patients and their families to gather information about their dietary needs and preferences.
- Develop and Implement Dietary Plans: Create personalized dietary plans that meet the nutritional needs of our residents, taking into account their medical conditions, allergies, and cultural backgrounds.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with our healthcare team to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care, including coordinating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and Evaluate: Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our dietary plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure our residents are receiving the best possible care.
- Provide Education and Support: Educate our residents and their families about healthy eating habits, nutrition, and meal planning, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of our residents' dietary plans, including their nutritional needs, meal preferences, and any changes to their plans.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a professional food service setting and clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Licensure/Certification: Current, unrestricted, and active registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
