Veterinary Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to provide exceptional animal care and make a positive impact on the lives of animals and their owners. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal welfare, with the ability to diagnose and treat a variety of animal health issues.
Duties- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions.
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as needed.
- Perform surgical procedures with precision and care, ensuring the highest standards of aseptic technique.
- Provide emergency care for critically ill or injured animals, utilizing veterinary critical care skills.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
- Maintain accurate medical records using veterinary terminology and practice management software.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Handle animals safely and effectively using appropriate animal restraint techniques, including dog handling skills.
- Participate in ongoing education to stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the state of employment.
- Experience in veterinary critical care is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology is essential for effective diagnosis and treatment.
- Familiarity with pet grooming practices is a plus for providing comprehensive care.
- Experience working with equine patients is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.

- Pay: $200,000.00 per year
- Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
