We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team at Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and registered nurses.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and mobility assistance.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited licensed practical/vocational nurse program.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
  • CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
  • IV Certified required or obtained within 6 months highly preferred.
  • Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
