At Mass General Brigham, we are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team as a per diem / prn job in Massachusetts.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work and current licensure as a Certified Social Worker (LICSW) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. A minimum of five years' experience in a social work setting and mental health is required, with addictions experience preferred.

About the Role

This position involves performing clinical social work functions, social services case work, and discharge planning activities for clients on Cooley Dickinson's Behavioral Health Unit and their family members. The successful candidate will assess and address clinical treatment goals while the client is inpatient and establish liaisons with community providers and other hospital programs to achieve continuity of care.

Responsibilities
  • A comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessment to determine treatment goals and objectives
  • Clinical treatment planning and implementation
  • Family education and support
  • Group therapy and counseling sessions
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work
  • Current licensure as a Certified Social Worker (LICSW) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Five years' experience in a social work setting and mental health
  • Experience in addictions is preferred

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
