GIS Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Specialist I to join our team at Trilon Group. As a GIS Specialist I, you will be responsible for providing essential support to various disciplines within our engineering firm, leveraging a strong foundation in GIS principles, technologies, and the ArcGIS software suite.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the creation, maintenance, and analysis of spatial datasets using ArcGIS software.
- Conduct spatial analysis to support engineering projects, including site suitability analysis, network analysis, and spatial modeling.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand GIS requirements and deliver customized solutions.
- Manage and maintain GIS data repositories, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and optimized performance.
- Produce high-quality cartographic products for reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
- Provide technical support and training to colleagues on ArcGIS software, GIS tools, and workflows.
- Stay current with ArcGIS advancements and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and workflows.
- Assist in implementing and administering ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise environments.
- Integrate GIS with other engineering software and systems to streamline data and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Understanding of GIS principles, spatial analysis, and cartographic techniques.
- Knowledge of geodatabase administration, relational databases (e.g., SQL Server), and multi-user workflows.
- Familiarity with engineering fields (e.g., civil or environmental engineering) is advantageous.
- Experience in scripting with Python or ArcGIS API for Python is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in team settings.
